Customer Service Administrator

Temporary (to perm)

Up to £23,000

Milton Keynes

The Customer Service Administrator ensures that the company meets or exceed its commitments to our customers through efficient order management, effective and pro-active communication of information, and the prompt resolution of customer issues. By providing these services, Customer Service supports the businesses, and help them to attain their goals.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Receive new orders by email and record them on SAP
  • Confirm inventory availability / safety stocks
  • Invoicing on SAP & Government invoice
  • Take calls from Customers and the Sales Team
  • Follow up back-orders
  • Constant communication with Production / Purchasing / Logistics
  • Create / Update new Customers
  • Create / Update Prices by Customer & Material
  • Generate Credit / Debit notes - both on SAP and Government documents
  • Handle returns of materials

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in Customer Service Administration or similar position
  • Microsoft Office (Excel) - Intermediate
  • SAP working knowledge
  • The ability to communicate effectively both over the phone and via email
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • Very strong accuracy/attention to detail
  • A real passion for the quality of your work
  • A desire to work as part of a team
  • A 'can do' attitude and a hunger to do a great job
